Kaminaki Boats and Water sports is the oldest running boat rental on Corfu. Pioneeringly set up by Anna and Asterios Asvestas in 1978, the family have always prided themselves on a warm, family orientated and professional service.

The business is now owned and run by Anna and Asterios’ son Dimitris and his English wife Jess grew up together on the island as kids, and have two children Finn and Xanthe.

Having spent his childhood working on the boats and water sports, Dimitris went on to study Philosophy and Politics at Queens Belfast and pursue a career in Edinburgh. In 2015 he returned to Corfu to takeover the running of Kaminaki Boats and was joined by Jess in 2019. Dimitris is a trained water ski and wakeboard instructor certified by the BWSW and has a deep knowledge of boats and anything related to the ocean!

Before moving to Corfu, Jess was a primary and secondary school teacher in London for 10 years. Aside from her educational qualification, Jess is a Yoga Alliance Accredited 500hr Yoga teacher and runs Yoga-Corfu – a business providing private yoga classes in the luxury of your villa across the NE of Corfu.

Dimitris and Jess run a professional, warm and exciting business on the island and are always willing to impart any knowledge of the local area and help make your holiday that extra special. Boat rental from them is an absolute must!
